Aahh Deryn, the hours I've spent as a kid fishing from the old pier, plus swimming and even jumping off (couldn't do that now, even if naked women were handing money out in the sea below ).

I've taken so many images of the pier, but only one set from a similar angle. Unfortunately whilst installing Windows 7 shortly after I somehow managed to delete my data partition, and of course my backups weren't up-to-date

Recovery software failed to get any of them back, however I've got a few JPG's on flickr, and posted a few on the other forum link

Hi guys, as with most of my photos I have to have something in the shot to distinguish it from other photos of the same scene. (dogs, sheep, Christmas tree's!) There are lots of angles to take a pic of the pier from but hopefully the dogs make this one different.

Adrian, you are not alone. I too have lost all my pics in the past because I didn't back them up. My latest scare was only a couple of weeks back. I opened Elements to find half of my pics gone! Hundreds!! I just couldn't fathom out what the heck had happened. Until, someone asked me to look in the recycle bin? Oh YES, there they were! The previous night I had highlighted a line of pics to be deleted. Unknown to me, hundreds of pics out of screen shot were also highlighted!!! I was just in auto mode so just went again and deleted without checking. Lesson learned.

We got sunny weather today so far. (wednesday)

I have a sneaking suspicion that you may give it a go Adrian depending on which naked women and just how much cash was available
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.
