Nice pun Darlene...hehehe.I think this is a fresh topic.....I remember we had one on reading and writing, but not books!
I will put my thinking cap on...and if I get nothing great
then I will take a shot of a book....just plain and simple.Hope you get tons and tons of entries....alway nice to earn your "First Place"

Wow Glyn, I just cleaned out my library, and it looks freakishly similar to yours. I am also guessing it is huge in compairison to the few in your photo, I know mine is

We have always had books in our house and they are constantly getting out of hand . The shot just shows one of my shelves but my collection is insignificant compared to my wife's who, in the past, has worked in libraries and is a prolific reader and collector.
We have not yet succumbed to an e-reader. Part of the pleasure of having books is not just reading them but living with them.
For the picture I wanted to shoot along a shelf and the biggest problem I had was finding an example with enough free space to stand the tripod

RPLSF, you should take a photo of your books (not for the comp) and share them here...Oh Glyn, you did not answer RPLSF question about "The Sparrow". I just read the review...sounds awesome...off to the Library in the morning, even though I was just there Friday

That the author has come here from writing scientific and technical manuals also appeals to me and so I have added it to my Christmas wish-list

I am waiting for a copy to come to my local library. Should be nice to get into a good read....its been a while since I blocked out the world and entered another.
