shot I took weekend gone in a derelict and abandoned hotel, restaurant and Wedding venue.

GENTLE C & C welcomed

Taken with my new MX-1 , almost certainly in the HDR mode. I rather liked the lanterns and columns.

Nicely composed. I might be tempted to play with a mono version but I guess people get tired of hearing me on that one haha.

mono does suit dereliction, my main area of interest, well and yet I seem to do it a lot less these days. However on this one I like the subtle colours and think I would just prefer the colour even though I think B & W would work too

I'm having trouble seeing Exif data at the moment, so this could be my mistake. The data for this one says it was taken with a K5.

The reason I looked was, to see if you could have zoomed out to include the base of the first column.

oooh my bad - I had the K5 and MX-1 with me and thought this was with the MX-1 ..

If I recall I think I went tighter isn as there was something distracting or bright to right of frame so I was cutting that out. also wanted the lanterns to be a reasonable size in frame.
