Me too. I don't get it either but then I am not very good with these things anyway.

I believe when we've viewed them using the root folder option it means they are then cached on our computers so the new direct path then works. I guess you have some server protection on at file level to prevent files being viewed/nicked when directly linked?
I'd say John's right too. I know this isn't a thread intended to praise pics but the rider shot is wonderful.

I've seen them using Gwyn's method, but still can't see them from the link.

Using IE7 on XP

Sorry about the mess up with the pictures guys .. I tried for some time to get the links working properly but I'm afraid I am confused how the links work on here... My skills at I.T. do not seem to be up to doing it...

Thank you to those who managed to see the pictures.. and thank you to all who tried
Pentax K7 and K5 and several black tubey things with magnifying glass in that twist around and move in and out - to be honest I am not sure exactly what I have. Will list the proper names one day..
