Cooling problems

I couldnt get the images up so have pasted the links
Pentax K7 and K5 and several black tubey things with magnifying glass in that twist around and move in and out - to be honest I am not sure exactly what I have. Will list the proper names one day..

This is IMO down to exposure. In the first image there is a nice even tone balance that will not upset metering systems and a good result is obtained.
In the second image the background is considerably brighter than the foreground and is over-exposed. This causes poor colour and with this lighting imbalance the only cure would be to light the butterfly with fill-in flash.
If shooting JPEG, setting Daylight or Cloudy as the white balance will give better results than AWB, or at least more interesting results!

I have had a look at a few other pictures with the problem and I see what you mean.. I will have a go next time i am in this lighting situation ...

I've tried with IE6, Firefox 3, Opera 9.50 beta and Opera 9.51, all with the same error message as others have reported.

OK I have seen the photos - I went to http://www.petewelsh-photography.co.uk/petes and from there (it is a root directory) I could open the photos. I would say that John is spot on in his diagnosis.

I have a Pentax K10d and various lenses.. When I take a photograph of a scene with a lot of green in I tend to have to "cool" it down in photoshop as they always seem to have a yellow tint to it... This happens with both RAW and JPG I have tried setting the white balance on Auto/daylight and cloudy but none seem to sort the problem The White balance seems fine to me when I take a photo of anything else... So was Looking for suggestions as to what I can do to stop this.. I guess there is something in a menu somewhere but I can't find it
I am going to try to attach two photos to this post to show the difference The first image does not seem to need "cooling"

This next image has a lot more green in and I have the problem ... I know it is over exposed probably not in focus but that is nothing to do with the problem ..
