Consistent colour with in a studio environment

If you save for the web in photoshop one of the options is convert to sRGB. Perhaps experiment with turning that on or off? I find when I am saving web graphics (mostly in png format) it can drastically change the colour of some images. Not sure how it effects photographs.

I once notice also colours that weren't correct and I had Proof on in photoshop
The save for the web option should do a good job though, at least I've used it without problems so far
But like Tim says the profile can be a problem but you must have sRGB embedded for the web or else the browser will make a guess at the colours

I have found the root of the problem
I was talking to a Local company that supplies strobes and asked the same question and with out any hint from me they told me what strode I had used.
It is down to the strobe i use for homes shoots (inconstancy colour range on the strobe it's self) so, I will be using the poor strobes only as a back ground light from now on. And using my better strobes to light the models from now on.
I wish to thank every one for their time in resolving my issue
