Confrdence boost

I entered a photograph in each of the three categories at out village show
and was awarded the following:

Olympics/Jubilee First Place

Open spaces Sunset/Sunrise Second Place

Animals Close up Second Place


Only a local show but a confidence booster all the same, rather like getting a photo accepted on the Gallery.

It does not matter what, where or how it's achieved any recognition of your work is a real boost. Are we going to see the pics?

I had a similar experience last week. Entered 6 categories, won 2, second in 1 and won overall best picture in the show. Used it as an excuse to buy another lens
