Website not responding on first load

Just lately, when looking at the site, I get a message stating that the site is not responding. A refresh sorts it out it seems, as there are no problems whilst browsing from then on.
Using Win7 Prof 64bit and IE 9 64 . Anybody else have a similar problem??
No problem with any other web sites by the way. .....

Same problem. Had it for weeks/months now.

Have you tried loading the site with another browser, Google Chrome, Safari, ect...........

The GF wanted to catch up with Hollyoaks, but watching it with Google Chrome it kept crashing, Apple Safari played the 4OD service flawlessly.

Fine here with Firefox.

Every so often, you should "flush" your temporary internet files. That normally resolves the problem. Be sure to only flush the temporary internet files, and not your cookies, or password or favourites files though!

Well I have loaded Safari and the problem has gone away-maybe for now?
