Hi Folks. It's a bit of a b****r this lockdown. We are both 81 and my wife "Sheila" had a stroke back in 2016. Apart from her speech she's quite fit for her age. I on the other hand am a different story. I'm one of the 1.500.000 at risk people. I'm on immunesuppressants (spelling?) hence no immune system. But to get my meds I have to give my blood every 4 weeks as they are "shared? restricted?" SO I have to go out. it's rubber gloves at the front door for all deliveries then nothing touched for 3 days. Gloves turned inside out and binned then hands washed as an extra. So far the son and daughter in law have done our shopping but stay across the drive and just drop things in the porch.He buys a lot of motorbike bits on the web and has them sent to us as he is normally out at work. We had a parcel 5 days ago would you believe from CHINA. Dropped by the courier in the porch and not touched by us. Well that's enough about my problems. Just had to get it off my chest. As they used to say in Hill St. Blues. Be careful out there.

Back to books - I like the idea of putting books in a cupboard at the end of the drive. It would free up some of the vast amount of space in the house that is taken up by books that will never be read again.

I know the feeling Steve. We have a Oxfam book shop in town which has an excellent range, I have purchased plenty of good reads from there: I just need to get around to taking them back!
Getting older and grumpier. Taking longer to decide which lens to use today.
