As I deleted my folder containing all of my chandelier shots, I guess I shall have to think of something to photograph one dark evening

Ahh Jeeez, the slab of Ice i've stashed in the freezer, to get creative, has gone as my wife has just defrosted the freezer

Hmm, I got the impression it was a more informal use of 'crystal' so that it would include a chandelier with glass beads which isn't crystal and would probably exclude some more esoteric items that are crystalline (graphite?).
I was wondering what the truly hideous crystal wine glasses my Mother gave me were made of and what made them crystal glasses. I was thinking of using them in some way.
I assume most gem stones are crystal?

I think we need some clarification from our judge
For me the latest entry - The Sage (very nice image) is definitely not Crystal but float glass.

I did get the inspiration from a piece of Amethyst we have as an ornament, hence the mineral. I did think this would also include jewellery with diamonds and other stones etc.. Then it was cut glass crystal and crystal chandeliers. I had not expected flat glass but I suppose you can have crystal clear or even “Crystal Gayle”

If we include 'straight' glass as well as crystal in the terms of the competition there is a danger of some entries repeating last week's windows theme. My own entry is of a sculpture made from glass, not crystal, so feel free to rule it out when you do the judging Barrie.

I did not enter the "Windows" competition as Hyram was the judge
