My red/green is a bit of a problem but then I knew that anyway. I can tell traffic lights apart so that's the important thing...

Indeed, many with the problem with red have problems with that and with braking lights.

I think most men where I live are red-green colour blind if their behaviour at the traffic lights here is anything to go by.
Some are unable to read numbers either, and so can't drive at the speed limit.
Often the same ones as are colour blind. Poor afflicted souls.

Gwyn, those numbers are minimum speed limits right?
And it's scientificly proven less accidents happen when you drive to red then through green.

I've always been a little confused about colour blindness and traffic lights - surely they can just aim for the bulb that's lit?

Yes but if the sun is in the light it's already hard to see even without being colour blind.

As I am colour blind does that mean that the comments and critic made on any of my shots will be nice and kind

Whilst living in Maastricht, a Dutch co-worker gave me a lift into town. When I mentioned the 50k speed limit he just laughed and said it was the minimum speed!

David during my driving lessons I was learned to add 10% of the minimum speed to go with the flow, I also quickly learned all the speed cameras

When I went to the European Conference on Visual Perception, there were always a lot of researchers there from the Netherlands.
