Wandering around taking a few photos in a churchyard when I noticed this sky:

Pentax KP with the Pentax D-FA 28-105 zoom lens at 28 mm. ISO 200; f/8; 1/640s; +1 EV. Images edited in PaintShop Pro. Mono conversion in Nik Silver Efex Pro plug-in.

Comments welcome.

Love them both.... but the mono one is more atmospheric (literally too) and dramtic!!

Google DS Colour Labs.... and get it printed! 18x12 from them are about £1.30, 10x80 are about 60p... well they were last time i used them!

I like them both too.

...and second the recommendation for DS Colour Labs. I use no-one else

As everyone else has said so far, both are gorgeous.

Isn't it fascinating the different 'moods' one can sense in the two images? Colour - summer, light. B&W - somehow more dark, (if you see what I mean.)

To repeat, gorgeous.
Be well, stay safe.

Both have caught the nature of the skies over the past couple of days really well.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thank you for all the comments above.

I like both but the mono is my favourite.

Cheers.

Mono for me - it just gives so much more interest to that sky, depth and drama
