Thanks for all the comments! I've just got back from a trip and was pleasantly surprised to find so many positive comments! Being monsoon season, I have had quite a few opportunities to get pictures of clouds recently. The night storm shot I was especially pleased with, as it's a 2.5 second hand-held exposure. I get quite a lot of dud shots of clouds at night, but this is one of the two best I have managed so far. If anyone is interested in the method I have been using to get shots like this, there's a description on my blog (link in my signature).

These are the two I am planning on making large prints of, probably on canvas. I'm having a bit of a problem finding anyone who does the sizes I want; does anyone know of any company in the UK who will do canvas prints in 8x4 format?

Thanks for the comments! Yes, I have been flying a lot, in fact I was so jet-lagged after a recent trip at the end of a particularly busy period that I slept for 15 hours! I've just accepted a training position, so I will have a lot less long trips, though unfortunately it will also curtail my aerial photography somewhat.... On the positive side, I get to choose one non-training trip a month, so can bid for trips where I want to revisit a particular area to get shots which I have missed due to weather, wrong lighting, or have just messed up
