Glorious weather in the lakes

Had a short break in the lake district earlier this week. Two big firsts for me...never before visited the lakes when it's NOT been raining and secondly, I finally saw my first red squirrel!

Some random shots around Haweswater & Ullswater...K5 + Siggy 10-20, 55-300 & IR-converted K20 + 18-55WR.

Like the first 4 images, can't make my mind up about the IR images.

IR pics are a bit like marmite. Personally, I love marmite. Really nice stuff. K.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Many thanks for all your comments!
I hadn't appreciated that IR was such a marmite topic with people
I had always been fascinated with such images and after some dismal attempts using an IR filter, I jumped at the chance to purchase a converted K20 off a fellow forum member.
It's taken some time to get used to it, but I've found the kit lens produces the most satisfying results!
