Clocks

Some interesting clocks spotted in Vienna last Summer.
1. There are actually three clocks here - an astronomical one (no idea how that works), a conventional one and a sundial.

2. This one is rather magnificent and, as the EXIF data shows the photograph to have been taken at 11.55 and I hadn't corrected for European time, it appears to be telling absolutely the right time.

Both taken with my K-5ii and DA 18-135mm. Thank you for looking.

Fascinating stuff.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Good work, I bet you have more fascinating clocks from Vienna. . I like photo projects like this.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I don't have any more Viennese clocks, I'm afraid, David. Vienna was a bit of a disappointment from a photography point of view. We were only there for a day, half of which was devoted to a walking tour. The city was packed with tourists and parked vehicles to the point where it was difficult to get a clear shot of almost anything. I posted a couple of other Vienna shots in the Gallery last year and these are of the "look up" variety. You need to get up much earlier than I do to get clean shots of Vienna these days.
Regards,
Mike
