Circular polariser recommendation

You tend to get what you pay for and cheap polarisers often have colour casts. Have you thought about finding a good one at a reasonable price on eBay?

Watch out for Hoya and Kenko as reliable brands. I have both brands - the Hoya was an Amazon purchase, and the Kenko was bought from a fellow Pentax User member. I think the Hoya cost me 24.00 GBP, and the Kenko about 20.00 GBP.

I've used the 7day shop ones and I haven't noticed any colour cast. I admit I haven't been looking for one so I haven't conducted any critical comparisons with and without. However I haven't noticed anything except better colour saturation and contrast.... and more money in my pocket.
I do need to get a thin "pro" one for my 12-24 though as the 77mm one can be seen in the corners at 12mm.

Hoya Pro ones are good as are jessops own brand 'Pro' ones. Unfortunately Pentax only made them in 49mm.

I use the Marumi DHG CPL filters and have found them excellent. They are among the highest rated in this test from Lenstip, too: http://www.lenstip.com/115.4-article-Polarizing_filters_test_Results_and_summary...
They're not the cheapest but they do pop up on eBay for a nice price from time to time, which is where I got hold of mine.

I'm also a big fan of the Marumi filters. REally good value for money.
You will only prise my 43Ltd from my cold, dead hands...

Residing in Canada I use the Tiffen one.
I purchased when they where new for my old MINOLTA MAXXUM 5000 and actual made in Japan unlike the normal range of Tiffen filters manufactured in the USA as it's the closet I could get to a Canadian made one.

On my 16-45, I use a circular polariser bought off ebay from china brand new for £3.42 and it is excellent! There is absolutely no colour cast and it it does not introduce any softness. It's made of glass and is better than the Hoya circular polariser I bought for one of my other lenses that cost ten times as much. The supplier is Filter Plaza. For £3.42 it was no risk at all and it has proved to be one of my best buys.

Another thumbs-up for the Marumi Super range, which as suggested was bought from an ebay seller from the Far East for about £50.
A point worth noting was that when using a standard, or thick framed CPL on the Sigma 18-50, vignetting was visible at 18mm. However this isn't an issue with the Marumi.
On the 10-20 I chanced on one of these link
No visible vignetting at 10mm, but to be honest I rarely use it, as I find I get better results without it.

Anyone care to recommend a good, sensibly priced circular polariser for use with the Pentax 18-55 lens ?
I notice that 7dayshop do some fairly cheap ones but I am a bit cautious as they are effectively 'unbranded' filters. Anyone had any experience of using these ?
