On the weekend of the 9th and 10th of July we have the Cheshire Steam fair over at Daresbury Nr Warrington Cheshire.link so I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for a PU meet on which ever day suits, It would be nice to put some faces to the user names on here and get to know some of you. So far we have three possibly four names but the more the merrier and hopefully we shall get some good weather as well.

Hi Geo,

Rail would probably be the most direct route for you to Warrington Bank Quay station, the site is about fifteen minuets away from there by road.

Hi Cliff.

Hope you get a good turn out of “PU” members, I will be there in spirit.
This time of the year I would be attending a fair/rally every weekend, as an exhibitor, with open crank engines.
But in 2003 was diagnosed with, Multiple Sclerosis. Carried on rallying for a couple of years, but then had to throw in the towel, Still own the engines though, better than money in the bank.

To “PU” members I can recommend steam fairs/rallies, a great day out for all of the family, with endless photo opportunities, meet up with Cliff, and I am sure you will have very enjoyable day.

Hope the weather is fair, overcast but dry and warm, ideal rally weather, trust me.

Take care.

I'm sure one of us could arrange to collect you from the station and organise the return run.
