I spoke to Pentax, it is starting tomorrow, but can be backdated if purchased after 24th October.

shame i got mine on the 3/09/08 and had it replaced on the 9/9/08 and then replaced again on the 16/10/08 doh never mind still worth every penny

Well, there's the banner ad which links to the Pentax U.K. website, on which I can find no mention of cashbacks.
Once again Pentax U.K. are on the ball with their website. Has anyone told them about the ring flash? The DA* 55mm? Oo, have a look in the 'Press Lounge' for the recent press releases... Er, results of a fishing competition in September, anyone?

Yup, I have to say Pentax are terrible when it comes to keeping their web site up to date. Last time they did the cashback offer it was still on there a month after it finished.
I clicked the ad on SRS site to have a look at the cashback offer on the lenses and couldnt see a thing about it.

Noticed that too as we are after another DA* 16-50, having said that though Bristol cameras now has it listed at £389! Wonder if Chris can match that!

I looks like the offer can include any lens offered as part of a "kit" so I should still be able to buy a K20D and 16-50 combination.
What I dont like is having to cut the barcodes from the boxes to make a claim, used gear always sells better if its boxed
I see Bristol Cameras have the 60-250 listed at £649, I cant decide whether or not to skip on the 50-135 now

It looks like the camera & lens kit cash backs have returned. I have just seen details on a UK site which has the latest update marked as 1st Nov 2008.The cash backs quoted are;
K-m + lens £30
K200D + lens £50
K20D + lens £100
Nothing for body only.
I feel an upgrade from my Ist*D coming on
