Hello,

I have just purchased a used K10D which is missing the rubber "bung" from the baseplate where the motordrive fits in. Does anyone know if replacements are available and if so from where ?

Many thanks

Martin.

Try Chris @ SRS Microsystems.

If he can't source one then nobody can

Just buy a vertical grip and always keep it in place. Joking aside, have you tried the K10D with a grip? You may be like me, and find that it's much more comfortable. Just a thought.

When the battery grip is fitted, that bung is removed and stored in the grip. That's probably where it still is. You could contact the seller to see if they still have it.

Thanks for your various replies.
I rang Pentax today and they are sending me one free of charge.
This re-enforces my decision to return to Pentax as I know Nikon would have levied a charge, that is IF you could get through to their customer service department.
