Bye bye K20D and hello K-r.

Once you get used to one wheel and one screen and the diminutive size - it is a fantastic camera - I have no regrets swaping my K20 for a Kr... although still intend getting a K5 but I do keep asking myself - why?
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

I'm finding the size of the K-r quite pleasing, coming from a much bigger camera I was worried that it would be too small for my hands too. The control layout is very intuitive.

It's very much a personal preference, of course, but I have 2 of the samller, one wheel bodies - *istDS and K100D Super - and I didn't go for a K10D or K20D as I found them too big.
Would love a K5, but can't afford one currently.

I'm loving the K-r, it feels great, images are good quality, loads of features and feels fine in my big hands, easier to cart around (a bonus when out with the kids) and both kits lenses are pretty good too. Loved my k20D too and maybe I will another semi-pro model in a year or so but for now after one day with the K-r I am more than happy. Selling my Sigma 70-300 APO now as well because I want to keep my kit as compact as possible and will hopefully get a Pentax 55-300 after Xmas.

I moved from the K20D to the Kr, and am very happy with the change. Ditto on everything above. I would get the Pentax 55-300 straight away. The lens and camera are a very good match.
