Buy your protective films for the monitor screen over there as well. You could save a whole lot more than on the price of the camera. I got mine in a Walmart (along with some polarising filters).

The charger that comes with the camera is 120/220 v. All you'll need is a cable to connect it, or an adapter.

I bought my K10D in the US with no problems. If you can get it mail order from one state to the next you can save sales tax.

My reading is that a legitimate overseas purchase is OK but a Grey Import may not be.

I'm pretty sure Olympus have a one year worldwide warranty
well when I worked in Jessops nearly all manufacturers were peeved off when people bought cameras abroad to save on their RRP's and because of this they wouldn't honour the warrenty as it wasn't UK stock. Then some manufacturers started EU warrentys but as fas as I know not one yet has a worldwide warrenty. Best to call or email Pentax to see where you stand if the camera went belly up first
