Second one for me. Awesome dynamic range and good subject with great leading lines. The lifebelt is so distracting in the first shot.

Both super images but I'll go with Gary and give #1 the vote, the lifebelt leads the eye away from the distant view.

Both up to your usual high standard Alan!
I prefer the tones and general composition of #1.. but would probably like it even more without the lifebouy

These are very good indeed, I wish my somewhat jaded eyes could see such things in my local surroundings
