Even just the second one alone was worth the effort Jules.

Really respect your determined use of public transport to get to your locations, jules. Shame it's not always smooth
Oh it's all in praise of the water tanker Alan, it's celebrating it's 30th birthday!
@Tim
There are times when I wish I wasn't so damn stubborn but Public Transport is the most respectful way I can treat my Lakes! There are more than enough cars there, without me adding to the statistics.
I keep wanting a VW Camper or something like that so that I could stop over and maybe when the legs and back etc finally give up I will get one but while I can still walk I will.

Shame you didn't make your ultimate destination Jules but you still grabbed some mighty nice photos. No2 really is a stunning shot.
Thanks!
Pleased you didn't say Final Destination!
It felt like it on Saturday and most of yesterday too!

Its funny but without ever being much of a tree hugger, I've never liked the idea of just idly cruising around the Lakes in an Mx5 or Heaven forbid a Z4 with my man bag!
Its not for everyone though, I get that, and its lost me a lot of sunset/sunrise cliches over the years but It's kind of become one of my mission statements (Another being my pet hate of americanisms!). So I have to keep it up really...

On a better note, my other half sent up her usual rocket to try to wake up Stagecoaches timetable planners (If indeed they have any!) and recieved this response:
Thank you for your email.
I apologise for the inconvenience this caused you, I have since looked into the timetable agree these times are not practical.
For the time being I will inform all our drivers who are operating the 505 service to wait for 3-5 minutes to try to ensure that these buses connect.
I'm sure you can appreciate that this is not a guaranteed connection but I will try to ensure the service is operated in a more efficient manner.
Going forward I will contact our Commercial department and inform them of this problem, so hopefully in the future these important tourist buses are more reliable and passengers aren't missing connections and having to wait 1 hour for the next bus.
Once again I would like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and hope to rectify this problem as soon as possible.
Your Sincerely
