Some excellent shots there Chris and with more Pentaxians using the K3 III by the week, I think it's fair to conclude that the AF performance that the brand previously lacked has been well and truly delivered now.

Impressive performance by camera, lens and, of course, photographer .
As a matter of personal taste, I prefer to see a bit of blur in the wings of a bird in flight that's flapping its wings (as opposed to gliding). Without it, the bird looks rather like a static model. It's the avian equivalent of wanting to see a bit of prop blur in picture of aircraft in flight. Am I alone in this?

It does get a tad tricker, the one below shot at 1/200 sec to blur the wings with a K3iii plus a 150 - 450 at nearly max extension and handheld

Yes, Slimbridge, it did get overrun by ankle bighters from midday yesterday so as the light was poor I came away, but a good 2.5 hours practice

Great shots Chris. What setting do you use for the AF? I always use just the centre spot as I never trust the camera to get it right.
