... in the Yorkshire Wolds, where the skies are huge and the fields of wheat and barley go on forever. Hope these give an accurate picture. K-1 + FA 28-105

One of my favourite places in the Wolds, less so on the bike mind you....

Thanks for sharing a lovely set.

Another nice little set John - with a pleasing light, pale colouring overall (which suits the subject matter well)

That last image is the standout for me - love the colour palette, calming and serene

Nice pictures. Stand out of the landscapes for me is number 5 with strong lines and a nice balance between land and sky. I do like the last two close ups particularly. The red poppies add something more and the oof "ears" add a lovely soft texture to both. I thought the landscapes were a bit overexposed but there again I often think my own images are slightly overexposed and adjust them in Lightroom.

Lovely, all of 'em.

There's definitely a lot of scope for close-ups of cereal crops in fields. Just need to be there at the right time and right light as you clearly did. Unfortunately, the barley round here went a couple of weeks ago...

Not a single weak image in there. Good coverage and well photographed.

Hard to put a favourite in there. They really showcase the place.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thank you, all, for commenting - the area is particularly accessible via the Yorkshire Wolds Way, which winds its way from Hull (I think from the Humber Bridge) to Filey. It's a very pleasant walk indeed!
