BBC Nature Photographic competition

You all probably know this already; Countryfile is having another competition with the main prize of £1000 worth of camera equipment of you're choice.

From looking at the quality photo's on here with wildlife as the subject I think that someone ( No Pro's allowed sorry) would be in with a good chance. It would be great to see the winning photograph taken by a Pentax. I am not one to keep things like this to myself as I can see a great deal of tallent on here and this type of competition is worth while. (besides the copyright issues that is)

No I am not part of the BBC trying to promote this, just I was interested myself and thought that others may be interested that might not have seen the program. Anyway below is the link to the website and info for the competition with the link to the entry form.

I was a winner last year, making the final 12 which appeared in the calendar. See this topic:

This year's subject is very open, so plenty of scope for members here to have a go.

Missed that thread, well done Steve,

I'll be entering this year for the first time as I see that they've relaxed the rules a little, previously it stated that photos entered should not have been offered for sale (which most of my best one have)whereas this year it's just that they shouldn't have won other competitions
