A few more from the garden, taken on different days, so different light and different stages of development in some. K-1 with Sigma 70mm bar last two, which were with Pentax FA 28-105. All comments welcome.

#4 for me and i think a much closer crop just around the main flower is in order.

Interesting choice of PP on number 2. It's not what I'd usually look for in terms of contrast but it works nicely.

You've captured the spirit of the flowers.

Nos. 2 and 8 would be on my wall if I had to choose.

2 and 3 for me. Might be worth a tighter crop on several of the images. You have captured some lovely light and the colours are very natural. Excellent.

Nice selection - with no.s 2 & 3 edging it for me - like the soft yet vibrant single colour dominance

I like no 2 especially. Lovely soft tones.

I agree, the images have a softness that presents the subjects very well. So often photographs of flowers are razor sharp which can be impressive when demonstrating the abilities of a lens but these photographs are better in my opinion.

No. 8 works particularly well with the background green giving support to the whites, blues and grey of the flowers.
Nigel.

Getting older and grumpier. Taking longer to decide which lens to use today.

Thanks for all the comments. My personal favourites here are 2 and 3, particularly 2. I do like the soft focus with just enough sharpness on the petal edges to give shape and form to the soft tones - IMO, of course!

I'm on board with the softer ones, too, especially... #2

Well photographed. The softer images are definitely worth your effort.
