Autumn Bits 2

As i said in the comments on my other post this is out of my comfort zone now plus a strong breeze but gave it a go while there.

1. Autumnal Carpet



2. Drying Out



3. Hill Top Gold



4. Small Copse



5. Tall Trees



6. In Strong light



7. Twisted Trunk

No. 5 Tall Trees for me.

You might think it out of your comfort zone but they look mighty good to me - the first one and 'tall trees' particularly.

1 and 5 are crackers

All rich in colour and impressive. Well photographed.

thanks for comments, the wood has been severely damaged by Ash die back and has seen a lot of trees cut down so going to be more difficult as a subject. Most of the ferns have have been destroyed where they have brought machinery in to cut the trees up, making a right mess. It seems to be happening in quite a few places around here. They seem to be cutting down a lot of trees that are close to roads which makes sense i suppose, would not want a dead limb falling onto the road and seriously injuring someone.
