Around Lake Bala

Three days at Lake Bala in Wales - very mixed lighting and weather, so just had to make the most of it while we could. Took the K1 mkII plus FA20/2.8, FA24-90/3.5-4.5 and DA*60-250/4.0 - all performed beautifully

I do like them My preferences: 5 & 10, the first majestic, the second more intimate, both very evocative; 8 for the simplicity of the scene, and the delicacy of the the drops closing the frame at the top. I'd love to take a walk around there!

Certainly did like them, especially the first one and the B&W railway shots.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

The B&W railway shots are great; love the frame filling steam one especially. And no 5 - the vertical format of the tree and lighting is probably my overall favourite, but they are all good

Super set John... rather like the b&w railway shots too (esp 7), but great observation (and wit) all round... 3,5,8,9 and 10 are my own particular favourites... the composition on 5 is terrific... have a very similar travel kit to you, I think, with an FAJ 75-300 (courtesy of your good self) instead of your DA*60-250/4.0 (which I've never had the pleasure of)... as you say, they do a gt job...

I'm a sucker for "big skies", especially the dramatic versions here! Having said that, every one a winner! Really good set!
