Are there still issues with PTTL flash on K-5?

Thinking of buying a Metz flash (always had good experience previously) but have come across threads where people have experienced vastly inaccurate P-TTL exposures using the K-5 body (not just with Metz). What are people's experiences? Has firmware fixed the problem (sounds like it has for the K-5ii)?

Cheers,

Hi Jon
The Metz 58 works fairly well with the K5 in P-TTL mode, but it;s still not consistent. The A mode works really well and I use this when I need flash on the go and when I don't have the time to use Manual flash. Personally I don't think you can beat manual flash when its used off camera when you have the time to set up. Of the all singing and dancing flashes currently for Pentax cameras Metz are IMHO the best. If you just need Manuel flashes you can get some great flashes for half the price from various venders.

Strap and book posted today.
