I have 3 of them - one for each 540. Not a lot to say really. They do what they are supposed to do. The only issues I have had are that I had to buy 4 to get 3 that worked - so quality control may be a bit hit or miss; also the on/off rocker switch is not recessed so it is quite easy to get knocked to the 'on' position in your bag.

I have one, it does what it says on the tin. The build quality is good enough and the nylon bag is equally good. When the flash is set up to use it for recharging the flash it increases the flash recycle time significantly.

Err, I think you meant it decreases the recycle time . . . . . . for recharging the flash it increases the flash recycle time significantly.
Mine recycles in about 2 secs after a 100% discharge. You still need batteries in the flash though.
What it means for me is that I can spend 2+ hours on the race track on winter evenings without needing to replace the batteries in the flash half way through the evening. Result.

very pleased with my purchased, just the size that stunned me, I had pictured something a little bigger than 8aa's..
still it did its job and performed flawlessly so well worth the money.

I didn't even consider the Pentax one because of them using C's, cost was also a factor but battery type came first.
