when are these frequent references to Nikon george please show me, also where does it say that pictures in the gallery must be taken with pentax equipment (no where) and as for objections (who are you) why dont you post a decent picture.

Yes Scott, you have paid your membership, and by all means stick around.
Even if you should only own a Pentax made lens cap, and nothing else.
You have that right. But please remember, we are all guests here. And as I have said before, its common courtesy not to take a dump on the front lawn of your host. And IMO this is taking a dump. But of course I see things wrong, and it was a honest mistake, right?
So do us all a favour, stop acting like a child . And if that's to much to ask, please look up to the sky, and do some cloudhunting. Preferably away from here.

It seems to be an ongoing bone of contention, but the forum policy is quite simple.

If someone jumps ship, so to speak, then they are still welcome to join in the forum discussions, but should behave with proper courtesy and not abuse our hospitality.

Pentax pictures are the expected fare as this is, afterall, Pentax User.

If anyone can't do that, then ePHOTOzine is a sister site to this one and is not marque-specific. Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Sony and others can be freely discussed there and not be out of place.

I think you'll find I make far more positive posts here than you. Many of your posts relate to discussions concerning Nikon in which you criticise people who support the brand that this forum is dedicated to.

The clue is in the name, old boy. "Pentax User". Not "Pentax Abuser".

If you, and your friends, could stop yourselves from talking about Nikon whenever you get the opportunity, there would not be a problem. That is what I mean about abuse of hospitality.

Agreed, there could be something in what you say, but proving it is a problem! I have read similar similar stories about bicycle magazines reviews being swayed by big brands advertising revenue, but if that were so they would read much more like 'advertorials' than they do currently.

But anyway, apologies again if I came across wrong, with retrospect there should have been a few more smileys/winks in my initial post!

People tend to post in topics, and comment on, the things that interest them, two of which happen to be Pentax and Nikon in my case. Not rocket science is it?

Yes, people were whining, I make no apologies for saying that, it's not abusing people or this forum. It was a positive review, yet there was a lot of complaining about the picture on the front of the magazine, and it read to me like some people aren't happy unless they're complaining. It was a tongue in cheek comment, hence the smilies at the end of it. Did you miss those?

Are you really also saying that your massive post count means your views/contributions are somehow more valid than mine? How does that work then?

As far as I can see, I abide by the forum rules, not 'George's Rules', and if I don't, I'm perfectly happy to be moderated. Personally, I'm sick and tired of you attacking me and my posts, so please stop it. People use other cameras from time to time, and they talk about them, get over it.

About the only thing this forum is missing thinking about it, is an 'ignore users posts' function.

Might make it a happier place for both of us don't you think?

i just did george and you lost me, your talking tripe, and also i think that it should staight that the pentax gallery is just for pics taken with a pentax camera,or is this to hard(also if there was a problem with any pics being posted by people in the gallery with other cameras, why have they not been removed by the mods,
