I am sorry, being a bit of a Numpty, I have just noticed that my K-X does not have a socket for the sync lead, so I presume that the Mecablitz is out of the question, ok back to the drawing board,

Just buy an adaptor. I bought a cheap Hama one (if I'm not mistaken; less than 10 GBP) that slides in the hotshoe and has an X-socket. I use it with the 45CT-1.

I am a newbie to the site and also a Nikon convert to Pentax, still wondering if I made the right choice...... I have just purchased a new Pentax K-X, and I am thinking of buying a flashgun, I have been looking at the Metz Mecablitz CL-4. I have read that this is a good unit and can be used with my K-X digital. can anybody please give me advice about this unit, would it be a good match with my camera, and are they a good unit.
Thank You.
