Any Red K-x Users Out There?

First of all - welcome to a very friendly and helpful forum, Rae!
As for colours, it's up to personal taste, imho. I, for one, prefer the standard black colour, but then I might be conservative.
I cannot see that the colour of your camera body should be of anybody's concern. As long as you are happy with it...

Welcome to the forum, according to Ned Bunnel from Pentax America; Red and Whites are sold most often (more then black) so I'm sure there are some users out there with a coloured one.

Red shouldn't really matter on that point.

You might attract a following of flower seeking bugs in the summer though...
If you liked red, then you made the right choice. I haven't seen the coloured ones so cannot comment on what my personal choice would be.

I bought my new black K-X at Christmas and reckon I made the right choice (camera-wise that is). As the internals are the same, whatever the outward colour, I'm sure you've made the right choice too.
As a fellow newbie, I would offer this advice ...
I bought a kit c/w 18-55mm and 50-200mm zooms and have been found wanting a longer zoom for wild-life. I've read a few reviews of the Pentax 50-300mm zoon and wish I'd gone for that instead. It can be had for not much more that the 50-200.
(PS Anyone wanna Pentax 50-200mm zoom - 2 months old - as new)

Thanks Pentaxophile I'm a bit more of a fun photo taker but have more time on my hands now, so have upgraded from a Sony bridge.(My first slr was a Canon Ae-1P always found it way too heavy) Our tutor at the Adobe Photoshop course raved on and on about Pentax so it was always a contender when I was looking. Must admit the colours did attract me but I did look at C and N before chosing.
RAB -- I went for the Pentax 50-200mm too. Hasn't had really much use yet, main reasons was weight. Did'nt want anything too heavy as I'm often out with my dog and when he's on the lead (38kg) and a camera as well and I'm not very big.......Front heavy

1.I've only had my Red K-x a couple of days and was wondering what comments/response other owners have had to it being Red and not the usual black ? Good or Bad.
2.Has the colour caused any problems taking pic's ? ie... I was told the colour might frighten the wildlife! etc
Some of the reviews have been very negative about the colours. I know I've got the right camera but have I made the right colour choice?
