New entry level model coming soon?

Went to LCE this afternoon to have a peek at the K-7 and K-x. Both very desirable cameras! I asked the salesman about rumours of a k7 with the new sensor they are using in the K.x. He said the only new Pentax he was aware of was something BELOW the K-x.

If he doesn't know about the 645D then I wouldn't trust it

Isn't the 645D Japan only, at least initially?

It was Leamington. Stefan, we were specifically taking about DSLRs - I doubt he was a Pentax expert but you might expect him to know about upcoming models he was going to be selling in his shop!

But the 645D is a DSLR but a mid-format instead of an APS-C, same camera different size of sensor.

Yeah forgot about that.., I wonder why they would do that though.
