Hello

I assume from what you have said that you have a Pentax Digital SLR and the 18-55 and 50-200 kit lenses. These 2 lenses are of reasonable optical quality and should cover most of what you want to do. They are ok for most landscapes, architecture and portraits.

For landscape and architecture you may wish to upgrade your current 18-55 lens to a 10-20 or 12-24 or 16-45 lens, which would give you a much wider angle of view.

The Sigma 50mm macro is good for close range macro photographs, but a 100mm macro lens would enable you to work at a further distance from the subject.

For wildlife photography you probably would require a 300mm lens. If you upgraded the 50-200 lens to a Pentax 55-300 or a Pentax 80-320 lens, then these would cover quite a lot of wildlife photographs. For ultimate quality in this range a Pentax DA 300 is very good. Obviously for wildlife at a greater distance, then 400mm and 500mm are required.

Pentax manual lenses:

K Lenses require you to set the aperture on the lens. This requires an aperture ring enable in the camera custom settings and the will only work correctly in M mode on the camera.
M Lenses require you to set the aperture on the lens. This requires an aperture ring enable in the camera custom settings and the will only work correctly in M mode on the camera.

A Lenses have an A setting on the aperture ring; if you select this then apertures can be selected on the camera and you can use all camera programme modes. However, if you use the aperture ring then you must perform the set-up the same as for K and M lenses.

You mention a 28mm lens, however, your current 18-55 kit lens is not a bad performer at 28mm.
Friendly Regards
Graham
