Varied Carpet Beetle, 3 pollen grains.
Little less than 2mm long.






K5, reversed 50 f1.7 on 200 f4, both M.
Stack of 27, Combine ZP.

This creature holds its head, eyes & antennae quite "tucked-in" to & under, its thorax, so an image showing these would be quite a different view.
In death, its legs all crumple up together & consequently don't show in this picture.


(And, it's frit!)

Ah, fair enough. The one I managed to get an almost decent pic of (using my little Lumix) was very much alive. Nifty little mover it was too!
