I'm normally a big BW fan but on this occasion the colours are super.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Gosh I'm torn.

For me both are great for different reasons.

The restricted colour palette is an example of 'less is more', that golden sheen is the stand out element for me.

Nd the B&W really shows off the architectural design to its best.

Both are really enhanced by the reflection moat and moody sky.

Cheers

The colour one wins hands down for me. Superb shot. Get it printed and framed.

Gosh Gareth, I can't decide:

Seriously though, they are both great, but the coulour version does bring something special to party.

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

Like Peter said, the colour one is hunting around for a frame to wear and a wall to live on!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

These are just fabulous....! I'm plumping for the colour version. As it seems to display the detail more.
I'm going to try and photograph the Ethiad stadium tomorrow.. Hope my efforts are not in a different league.... Pardon the pun... Though I suspect they will be...
