Sunshine .
Congrats on the new camera TT, have fun with it.
It is a shame about Jessops, but they have been living dangerously for some time now, and the banks/suppliers decided enough was enough. Hard on their employees. Jessops should have had a major rethink about how they would trade after their last bankruptcy threat, and gone in for fewer brick shops, but made them centres of excellence, whilst increasing their net presence.

I'm lucky to have three good camera shops within an hour or so drive, who also all do an excellent internet service, though not up to SRS standards.

I went down to the studio last night in time to catch some lowlife hanging around the door with some excuse about looking for a toilet. It turned out that Mr Ahmed had been trying to spring the lock with his travel card. It had fallen inside with his name and fingerprints on it. Police arrived in minutes and an hour later they appeared at home with mug shots. Not difficult to identify a guy whose forehead was only 4 inches across, seriously. They had arrested a known hosebreaker, we'll done Strathclyde Polis.

Shows how little sense some people have. Should have used someone else's travel card and fingerprints!

To be honest he clearly was retarded, the remark about the width of his forehead was true

Just looking at the new MX-1
Why didn't they keep the name for an interchangeable lens body instead of using it on a compact?
I don't care how good it looks on the internet, a 'Q' mount on front would have made it a very desirable camera...

Then it would have been a Q, but they already did that.

Will you please keep your camera talk out of this thread!
You of all people should know better!
Now, have you any plans to imbibe fluids tonight?
