If it means we'll get some sunshine I'll accept some winter temps.
Day after day of grey is getting me down.

Really? More bland and grey here. I agree with Gwyn, very uninspiring light lately. That and my better half being ill since Christmas has put a dampener on our planned rambles. Oh well...

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Who is Winter? And where are they on the way to?
There's a big cold front moving from the Arctic. I would explain it all in detail but it's a while since I did my Met exam, so I've forgotten everything.

Remind me AG, is it the fluffy white clouds or the big black clouds you should avoid?

I've a Brooks B29 on my fathers frame that he built at Ellis and Briggs in Shipley when he worked there.

That would be 1956ish. It was a copy of one he built for Ken Russell who rode in and won the Milk Race.

The bike is in super condition but doesn't get ridden these days, I prefer a motor to do the work.
Cheers, HG

K110+DA40, K200+DA35, K3 and a bag of lenses, bodies and other bits.

Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...

PPG entries.

My Dad rode a hand-made (in Kingston-Upon Thames)Carpenter bicycle competitively, doing 12 & 24 hour races as a veteran.
(He was a founder member of The Festival (as in Festival of Britain) Cycle Club in the fifties.

I had a Brooks saddle on my bike as a youth.

From what I remember, it took no small amount of time for it to mould itself to one's.....ehm... contours!

Happy Days!

I don't think my 'new' camera is going to last very long
