Only the usual suspects in Ilkley, Otley, Shipley and Skipton 'spider.
Finding cameras is more by chance than anything else. You can look for weeks and find nothing then, as today, 2 pop up on the search.
Cameras from charity shops in my collection include Olympos XAs and Trips, Pentax K1000, A3, P50 and others. I'm not fussy about what I get, just as long as it's usable.

So I woke up this morning expecting the farming programme, followed by Today. But no instead I was rudely awakened by Sir Geoffrey bellowing at me.

I remember camping in Devon in the 60's with some mates.
We went for a walk, found a cider shop, bought a jug (or two or...., there were 4 of us after all) and drank it at lunchtime on the side of a river.
Woke up, in pitch darkness to see stars aove me and a long wak back to the campsite.

Never have anything when I go in although Fart Foundation in Otley had a virtually mint 40mm for a 110 last time I was there, couldn't get it to fit the K5 thoughOnly the usual suspects in Ilkley, Otley, Shipley and Skipton 'spider.
I do see stuff but its not Pentax or its brand X lenses that are way overpriced, you probably have more luck as you'll buy any old junk

His nibs once enjoyed some scrumpy made by a Kent farmer we know. The farmer was limiting people to two glasses of the stuff. I was pregnant at the time so his nibs had my share too, plus a couple more. Every one wondered how he was still standing. The next morning he couldn't even open his eyes and spent the day in bed .I remember camping in Devon in the 60's with some mates.

Cider is hard to come by here - except that fizzy French stuff, so I am careful in my consumption of it, savouring every bottle.

I once sampled 10 year old Macallan in sherry casks followed by 10 year old Macallan in bourbon casks follwed by 10 minutes old Macallan (technically not whisky yet but 'British Spirit') The 10 minute old wasn't bad but I was strictly supervised as to the amount drunk!

I have often wondered why our continental cousins don't (in many cases) appear to recognise cider. The best I could find in Austria was Apfelwein - not really it, and in Norway something called Ull (at least I thought that's what they called it, again not what I could call cider. In Italy I got what can only be described as a Gaullic shrug and a lot of verbal gesticulation that was too fast for my brain to translate. I finished up with lemonade as despite where I live I can't stand beer.
So I'd be intersted to find out what I should actually ask for should I eventually get to Holland

I'm afraid you'll be hard put to find a bar selling cider here Bernard, though I have never asked for it tbh.
The supermarkets sometimes have fizzy French Cidre and since Heineken took over Bulmers you do find Strongbow occasionally too.
Maybe a Heineken bar would have Strongbow, but I'm not sure. Though not brilliant cider it has to be better than Heineken .

Spain can be good for cider (sidra), there is an enormous bar in Madrid near the Royal Palace whicg serves only that. You hold the bottle as high as you can and pour it into your glass which is on the floor.

Undoubtedly for my own protection! It was carefully measured, cut with water and you had to drink it there and then. It was at the distillery and remember no duty had been paid and this was purely a scientific exercise.

Back on the Cider subject in Llandegla which is just the other side of the Horseshoe Pass from where we live they make a cracking cider which is either 7 or 8% - if any of you find yourselves passing by Cobdens Bar, Capel Curig you can sample some there as well as Cobdens Ale made at Conwy Brewery - sadly I am not on commission
There you go - welsh Cider - that may shock a few people
There are plenty of beers made here in Wales as well although England seesm to be able to turn out a decent pint or two
How lucky we are in the UK if you exclude anything made by interp**s or whatever they are called these days
Too icy here to go out for a run tonight so I thought I would harrass you lot instead
