Ha ha seasickness! never suffer myself but Iv`e been with a hardened matelot who really did go green round the gills. It`s a crazy thing `cos I get really car sick and as for fairground rides. Never, I hold the bags.
Another way to bring on a bout is to pour some veggie soup from about a foot. Sure fire way to get someone to empty out!

Hang in there Barrie, I had a quintuple bipass and a valve repair four years ago and feel great. Make sure you do what they say and you will be up and about in no time.
All the best for a speedy recovery,

His nibs works for a company that contracts him out. He gets a regular wage and employment protection, but doesn't have to go searching for his on own contracts. Not as well paid as doing it your self, but a good safe option, especially now he is officially between contracts.
He is still keeping busy though - two tenders out, and the company's own quality system to update. He is now too expensive to sack, which is kind of a shame, but on the other hand he is thinking of working on past 65 so hopefully he can do that. If one of the tenders comes in he will have a couple of years work anyway.

Since I retired I don't know how I found the time to work, well the last 30yrs was really just being away from home for at least 6 months of the year but no real physical work involved. I think I'm "working" harder now trying to teach myself photography ( with hints and tip on here ) house maintenance etc. I have found the time certainly goes by a lot quicker than it used to

Good day today, wood cut for the stove, a trip around charity shops and 2 new cameras.
One Pentax A3 with Chinon 50mm lens and a Zenit EM. That's the problem with collecting, you end up with yet more toys to play with.
To be fair this is my 2nd A3, the first one, a gift from Thoramay, developed a dead shutter before I had chance to use it.
Time to go and make the evening meal, and have a beer while I'm cooking.

You are lucky to be able to find, reasonable quality cameras in the charity shops. In my area cameras are held back for Mr ****, only if he doesn’t want them, do they appear in the shop window for sale.
I happened to find this out, as my sister helps out in a charity shop, they don’t get a lot of cameras as they don’t take any electrical or electronic items, they have mostly cloths, jewellery and books etc, however Mr ****, came into the shop when my sister was there, asking if they had any cameras, the answer from my sister was no, to which Mr ****, said could you look out the back, because if you get any, the other lady keeps them back for me.
I just hope Mr ****, pays a fair price, as he has a stall in the local market selling used cameras, lens and various electronic bits and pieces.
If you here that a market trader, selling used camera gear, had a mobility scooter accidentally backed through his stall, between you and me, it may not have been an accident.
Take care
