Happy new year folks, guess who missed it
We started watching "Tron" at about 10.10, just as it was nearing the end the wife asked if it was near 12, I looked at my phone to discover it was 12.01
Did we jump up and watch the fireworks out of the window? of course not we watched the rest of the film and said happy new year at 12.10

Morning everyone. Happy New Year.
Nice of you to drop in Oggy .
Eventually got to sleep just after 2 when the fireworks finally stopped. We did stay up and His Nibs even went out and was sociable. I stayed in, I don't like fireworks at close quarters and there were a lot right outside this year.
I took the dog this morning at 9 - it was like some post apocalyptic scene. Deserted streets, debris everywhere, not another living soul about.
Just debating a visit to the zoo. HN has my Christmas cold though so I can't see us going.

She is not alone, our tree bites the dust after I have finished my coffee.

What ever happened to twelfth night??The party is over. Margaret insists on taking the decorations down today
We don't have any decorations to take down, just Christmas cards. Never got around to doing a tree, didn't seem much point with being away on Christmas day.

I'm at the local W.I. on Tuesday morning for taking the decorations down. I'm going to see if I can get a few photographs as an aide memoire for when they have to go up again at the end of Novemember. Nothing like planning ahead

Happy New Year all.
I think our decorations will be up for a few more days. Funnily enough, she puts them out and I put them away. And carry them back to a very small loft!

Happy New Year to all.
Fishermen, wish each other, “tight lines”.
Is there such a wish for photographers, if not, any ideas for one :.
Take care.
