I have two cats. Do you think total body armour would help?
I might also have a psychiatrist standing by. (not for the cat, for me --ow)

It really depends on the quality of the Kevlar etc used to make the body armour. Remember cats can claw their way from a locked safe. A psychiartrist is only essential if you are even the slightest apprehensive.

That looks like a standard Mk2 moggy(AKA Bird Shredder) to me DM, good job she looked straight at the camera and didn't turn her back on you..
It could just be that most cats are a bit on the fat side while this one doesn't seem over-fed. I regularly see it with small furry things dangling from its mouth so the owner is clearly feeding just the right amount - enough to give energy, but not so much that the cat lazes around rather than hunting. I've no objection to the local mouse population being wiped out as they get into everything and chew stuff just to see if they like it!

The eye contact has more to do with the noise I think. I have a few B&W shots of this cat from the MX, every time I pressed the shutter she flinched visibly!

Must try the wash thing on our cat!

We don't have a mouse problem here, so all the cats in the area are well fed, it stops them hunting the birds.

The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
It isn't just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a cat must have THREE DIFFERENT NAMES.

Our cat, now deceased, had three names:

1. Smokey

2. Fleabag

3. Get Down Off There!!!!

It always responded to one of them, but only if it felt like it

Just enjoyed a BBQ, washed down by cheap Australian plonk and rounded off with a very fine espresso. I am sitting outside still enjoying the peace, and the fact that it is still ridiculously warm.

I don't even know this cat's name. I know where she lives (as we phoned the number on her collar when she first turned up to check that she hadn't gone walkabout from somewhere) but that's about it!

Somehow I have managed to loose all but one of my SD cards I usually have one in the *istD and one in the K20D plus one in the grip, and one in my little Sanyo video cam. I then have 8 blank ones in a hard case, and another hard case for 'exposed' ones during a shoot. I popped out for an hour to take a panning shot for the weekly comp., found no card in the K20D, so used the one in the grip. On returning home I now find the hard case for the blanks has gone missing from my bag and both the other cameras haven't got cards in them! I've torn the house and both cars apart but can"t find them anywhere. Grrrrr.
