As someone else already said - squirrel tastes like chicken .
So does guinea pig.

Just been irritated by a squirrel

Had gone into the kitchen and happened to look out of the window - and then through the window in the Sun lounge - and i was looking at an angle of approx 45degrees.

There, sitting on top of the fence , and fitting exactly between the slats on my sun-lounge blinds was

A SQUIRREL

a right cheeky alert grey squirrel who was watching me watch him!!

If I'd moved to grab the camera from the next room he'd have gone . Blasted critter was taunting me . I moved and he fled
I keep getting that with Red Kites. A friend has a theory that they can tell how long a lens you have so they can remain just out of range!

I have had them come over the road low enough to see their markings with naked eye while driving before now. If you stop and grab the camera they'll be long gone.

There was absolutely no way I could have got a shot of that cheeky critter - I'd needed to get 2 doors open to get out and catch a shot - the Squizzie KNEW he was safe - I could swear he was laughing at me

The stuff we get sold here is, by and large, imported, tasteless and out of (our) season!

Even our best imported wine is the stuff left over!

Stick to grey squirrels. Hedgehogs are on the verge of being an endangered species.

Interestingly, you can get pet hedgehogs, at a huge price. I've seen a couple of them recently, tiny ones that look incredibly cute!

You mean there really are different coloured squirrels I've only ever seen them in grey.

Sheep will be endangered soon too, now the Chinese have developed a taste for them

The red ones are endangered. I met this one in Perthshire.

I heard that reds were making a comeback in the uk? Of course they're still common in Europe.
