Just remembered - my first digital camera was a Pentax Optio 555
I still have it but the shutter on the front of the lens won't fully open!! So rather than repair it I bought my first DSLR - the *ist DS.
The 555 served me well for a couple of years.
Cheers...John

,.. the 28 lives! It just needed a philips size 0 - not *that* small....
looks pretty good from here. Liveview and 10x magnification are made for this kind of thing. Very nice.
I'll test it again over the next few days and make sure it's good for the trip on Wednesday over to Tallinn. Need to work out where everything's going in the Rucksack - I'll pinch the inlay from the passport sling and then the K5 and 24-70 and 50 are safe; the 100-300 will go in its pouch and that leaves just teh 28 and the 135. One will go in the Lens case 1 I have and the other? don't know
Monopod goes in the ice-axe position on the outside... should have everything I need.
