I've been building a kit where the instructions, if followed, wouldn't produce anything resembling the picture on the front of the box.

Did you get instructions for building two different gun barrels, but no guidance as to which is correct for which mortar and when?

When I get that far I think I'll be encamped on Wiki and the few military history sites with a view to working out precisely which vehicle I've got!

I think the best names are either K-5 and K-7 (or K-r and K-x)!

No don't do that! K-7 will grow up bitter, and 'golden child' K-5 will fall from grace when he starts to suffer badly with spots.

Congratulations Gareth to both of you - we have just got our first pictures of a family of tits building their nest in our camera nest box - amazing on a 42" plasma screen with sound as well !!

Photos are a bit grainy but I will keep all informed .

Yep, thanks, very useful! The kit I'm building is the early version. I didn't know they made a kit with the bogies and beams to transport it by rail, will have to buy one of those! I was planning to scratchbuild those parts and build it as an unusual wagon for my model railway collection but as they make a kit life is much simpler!

How about FA* and DA* then?

I think being named after a high end lens would be OK. Preferable to a kid in my daughter's class who is called Acer; it always struck me as a bit unfortunate to have a name that most people will associate with either a laptop or a tree.

Nothing leaps out at me from the Pentax fold. But if you had triplets, Tessar, Zeiss and Jena might be quite nice names!

Don't let her tell you child birth is painfull.

According to my other half that's an understatement, it can actually be bl***y agony.

Still when the kids grow up and leave home the pain stops.

For a bit anyway!
