I've just realised it's Friday!!
I've spent the last hour convinced it was Saturday and I'd lost a day!
It must be Strictly that's thrown me.
What did Matt do wrong?
I thought he danced brilliantly but the judges...

No idea what he did wrong HG - they don't seem to like Aliona's choreography.
No wonder he didn't have staying power for the swingathon - after just dancing and getting that pasting from the judges.
Ah well looks like Cara is going to win it.

Whoopeeeeee!
I am on holiday!
I have next week off then 5 more working days this year. I might even get to take some pictures.
Nice Chinese tonight and some cider to wash it down.
Talking of food, I was in a chav supermarket and I saw a rare cullinary delicacy from the past.

Now these may not quite be up to Tony's standards but back in the sixties they were my first taste of (anything remotely resembling) foreign food.I remember being slightly surprised that prawns were made of cardboard. I just couldn't resist trying them again.
I'll report back on how awful they are.

My Dad rarely did any cooking, but when he did his "speciality" was Vesta Beef Curry

I would have thought that Vesta ready meals had fallen foul of the Trades Description Act by now. I remember my Dad eating them occasionally thirty-five years ago!
