yes, but it is there for now. Put in after the negative reaction to a similar episode. I don't think it should be a team sport, it should be about the best car and driver.

Beautifully done and what a fine sensitive tribute too - amazing skill with an edge of hardness - sadly missed.

3/. Trout.

I have two for dinner tomorrow, and the plan is to barbecue them. I am thinking either very lightly seasoning them and hot smoking them with a few wood chips or a chilli/garlic/ginger/lime rub and simply bbq.

Any thoughts or alternative recipes?

Fair call. I'll probably end up at the chippy after I have burnt the trout.

Going back to Ayrton Senna. I am going to play the heretic card. While I accept he was an outstanding talent I went off him after he took Prost out at Suzuka (IIRC) in 1990. Basically if Prost won the race he would be World Champion, otherwise Senna would be. Senna got on the inside of the first corner and then went straight on putting Prost in the wall.

Clicky.

Not my idea of sportsmanship.

As Schumaker did to Hill in Australia.

It was a Schummy incident that led to the new rule as well when he gifted a win to Ruebens.

Just got back online after 2 days without internet or phone, I assume other customers of Virgin in Bradford had no TV aswell.

Thank heavens for digi boxes, I never trusted these all in one packages.
Cheers, HG

Gracious HG - Virgin do seem to have been having problems

My Virgin e-mail had 3 days of very dodgy behaviour - and there was absolutely nowt on the Server status page. I did manage to establish that others were having problems too .

Up here we had a "back end" server problem for a day - very confusing - all sorted now though.Didn`t affect the TV or the phone..........

16 degrees and damp and cloudy here.

Got some nice New World wines in for the weekend from Oddbins,a new book called One Grump or Two which I fancy, and a week to go before the 42" Plasma arrives to change our lounge forever !!

Attempts to dry out a damp tent on the wet grass outside have been called off. It's now in the study. As it's a pop-up tent it doesn't need to be pegged down to keep it upright, just about a two cubic metre space.

just swapped the main bedroom and office round, due to one night too many of noisy neighbours on that side... then got some all-night work tonight (deep joy)...

but on the bright side - had the first of this year's home-grown chillies yesterday!
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...

What a day! or two days. Mad thrash up to York on Friday afternoon, MAK (daughter) on the move again. This time from York to Hertfordshire, junior docs move each year so what ever you do next week DO NOT GO ILL. The whole countries supply of medics is on the move. Back home now in the far East, looking at the remains of a bottle of Strong Suffolk Vintage Ale, Nice! Worth all the efforts of the last couple of days. Shame it`s brewed by a big brewer `cos it`s not bad. I prefer ale from smaller brewers, guess it`s a hatred of the big bad wolf in what ever guise! Never mind though Wifey tries to buy me as many different types as she can.
