I have one simple request for Polaroid: Make a battery for their Pogo printer which will hold its charge for more than 7 hours!
The battery in mine (and in two others I've seen) will go flat within a day even when removed from the printer. I wouldn't be so bothered about it only being able to print 15 photos on a full charge if it would actually hold that charge for a few days, other than this stupid design fault it's great fun.

Insanity reigns. 33C.
Holland just beat Brazil and the neighbourhood has gone mad. Fireworks, vuvuzelas, air horns, car horns.
Too hot for all that even though it is a shock result.
Ah well everyone is happy again until Tuesday I guess.

Ah just seen in - three injured. At least no one was killed.
Heat booze and football. Not a good combination

The one good thing about the F**tb**l this year is that there seems to have been very little violence. Shame that changed.
Stefan - we too had an armed siege near us (Littlehampton, so par for the course :roll, fortunately no-one hurt.

Haven't watch the news Gwyn but a neighbour was walking his dog close to there when they fired the shot so we knew a bit from him and my grandpa just spend a hour chatting to the police in front of the house.

I've found a cure for LBA.
At the beginning of this week I decided to treat myself to a 40LTD second hand on SRS's website. This fell through so I thought a bit more and changed my mind and ordered a 35LTD macro. This too fell through.
What stopped these deals?
The dopey muppets at barclays bank. I have never had trouble ordering on line before, but suddenly they have decided that camera shops are fraudsters and they will save me from them.
So now at least I do not have to get up in time morning in time to see the Postman. I do not have to go to the effort of of unwrapping a parcel. I do not have to face the difficulties of an unfamiliar lens.
Thanks barclays - you really are a bunch of Bankers.

On the brighter side, The Vulcan is now fully airworthy and should be displaying at Waddington and Goodwood this weekend.

Barclays Fraud Detection is quite sensitive. Just phone them up and they will reset your card and pre-approve the transaction.
Best regards, John

Quite sensitive? Adolph Hitler could be moderately antisocial too. Barclays Fraud Detection is quite sensitive. Just phone them up and they will reset your card and pre-approve the transaction.
What gets me is that things that are fine one week are unacceptable the next.

Oops
I have just checked and it seems that although Barclaycard gave the impression that they were going to stop the transaction, it appears the relented. I may well have a shiny new toy tomorrow after all.
So the question I now ask is should a small portion of humble pie be eaten with a fork or spoon?

It really was a 2 person job, using about 4 watering cans of warm water and only attempted on fine days .
He may have been short haired but when a soaking wet dalmatian shakes himself and AWFUL lot of water comes off and goes EVERYWHERE .
After the scrub it was lots of nice warm towels and if it was a nice sunny day an immediate walk to dry him off - otherwise , barricade all the chairs and he would then lie by a radiator .
